MEDICALLY SUPERVISED WEIGHT LOSS

GLP Medical Weight Loss Program

GLP weight loss program, built around your body and your goals, that is medically supervised by a nurse practitioner.

Our bilingual team cares about your results. Meet our lead nurse practitioner, Heather Simmons, MSN, FNP, APRN. Your first visit is in person at our wellness center in Wesley Chapel, and follow-up visits can be virtual if needed. We serve the greater Tampa area.

Please Note: Results vary from person to person, and everything we do is handled on a case by case basis. This page is not medical advice. It is here to let you know what we offer, so you can decide whether to reach out. For more specific questions, please consult us, and see the full disclaimer at the bottom of this page for more on the limitations of the information provided.

MEDICAL OVERSIGHT & ACCOUNTABILITY

A medically supervised program, not just a prescription

Plenty of places will mail you a weight loss injection and leave you to manage it on your own. Or you have a friend who can get you a cheap deal from their friend’s cousin. This is different. Every plan here is built and adjusted by a medical provider, and you are seen week after week, for as long as you are in the program.

Most patients come in once a week. Our GLP wellness visits include a weigh-in, a check on how you are feeling, and one-on-one guidance on nutrition and daily habits. If something is not working, we can adjust the plan rather than letting the problem go unassisted or undiagnosed. This is the difference between a program and a purchase: lasting change comes from steady support and accountability, not from a GLP that you are handed and left to figure out.

Real accountability is the heart of it. A medication is only as good as the plan around it and the person watching your progress. The specific medications we offer, and clinical information on each, are further down this page, because the medication is the tool, not the program.

BUILT AROUND YOU

IS This Program Right For You?

Our weight-loss program is designed for a wide range of patients. Every plan begins with a one-on-one conversation with our medical team so we can understand your goals, medical history, lifestyle, and previous weight-loss experience.

Some patients come to us after trying a GLP-1 medication through another clinic or online service. Others have lost weight before and struggled to maintain it. Our weekly check-ins are designed to keep your plan on track and address concerns early.

If you have a significant amount of weight to lose, we’ll work with you to create a realistic plan and timeline. CCarrying extra weight can also place additional stress on your joints. Learn more about the role of body weight in osteoarthritis.

Already taking Ozempic or Wegovy?
We may be able to work alongside your current medication as part of a supervised plan. Ask us about your options during your consultation.

HOW IT WORKS

How the program works

01

Consultation.

Your first visit is in person. We talk through your medical history, whether you have lost weight in the past from dieting, exercise, or weight loss medications, your goals, and your current diet and activity. If you have recent labs, we ask that you please bring them. Labs are not required to start. We can do some labs in house or order labs if a more specific panel is needed.

02

Build a plan.

The next step is to build a plan for you and review it with you in person. It may combine a GLP-based medication with a supporting option. Every plan is personalized to each patient. Two patients rarely leave with the same plan.

03

Weekly visits.

You have your weekly follow up appointment in which you weigh in, let the nurse know how you are feeling, and discuss whether there are any adjustments your plan needs. It is also your chance to ask questions and talk through what is and is not working with the nurse. After your first visit, these follow-ups can be virtual if needed.

04

Maintenance.

As you reach your goal, we may reduce the medication gradually, often to less frequent dosing, and monitor your results. If you need a booster later, that is part of the program.

SIMPLE, TRANSPARENT PRICING

What it costs and what drives the price

Weight loss medications and individualized weight loss programs like ours are not covered by insurance, and we do not accept or bill insurance for this program. We keep it simple: we accept cash and offer payment plans, and we are glad to walk through them with you.

What a plan costs depends on the medications and the combination that is right for you, as no two plans are identical. You are paying for medical expertise, oversight, and accountability, not just a vial.

Buying weight loss medication online can look cheaper up front. The trade-off is that you lose the medical oversight that helps keep your dosing correct and your progress on track, and you run the risk of dosing mistakes, which are typically what cause the worst side effects. Not all online weight loss medication is properly sourced and tested. Getting medical-grade GLP medication the right way, from a provider who is watching your progress each week, is a real part of the value.

YOUR GOALS MATTER

What patients come to us for

People come to us for all kinds of reasons. Some want to fit back into clothes they had given up on wearing. Others want to take pressure off their joints before making decisions about surgery. Some lost weight on their own in the past, only to find that keeping it off the second time around was much harder. Some have a special occasion or a big event that they want to look their best for. Whatever reason brings you through our doors, the goal is the same: to feel better, move more comfortably, and have the support you need along the way.

Like everything health-related, there are no guarantees, and Heather will tell you that directly. What she and our team offer every patient is consistency: someone measuring your progress every week, asking why when the scale stalls, and adjusting your plan as needed.

MEDICATIONS WE OFFER

The medications we offer

Retatrutide

A newer peptide, still in clinical trials

Retatrutide is one of the newest GLP-based peptides (GLP-3) and is still being studied in clinical trials. It is one of the GLPs offered and is discussed with you individually during your consultation. Supporting injections

MIC / UltraBurn

Optional lipotropic injection

MIC, also called UltraBurn, is a lipotropic injection that blends methionine, inositol, and choline. It is an optional add-on that some plans include, and whether it fits in your plan is discussed case by case during your visit

NAD+

Optional injection, derived from vitamin B3

NAD+ is a compound derived from vitamin B3 (niacin). It is an optional injection some patients choose to include, and it is one of the few some patients prefer to self-administer. Whether it makes sense for you is something to discuss with your provider.

LipoMino

Optional B-complex and lipotropic blend

LipoMino is an optional injection that blends B-complex vitamins with lipotropic amino acids and other compounds. Like the other supporting injections, it is offered when the wellness team believes it would fit into your weight loss plan.

Your first visit is in person. After that, follow-up visits can be virtual if needed. We still find the weekly in-person visit is a big part of what keeps your plan on track and sets us apart from an online subscription.

It is a fair concern with any weight loss. Your provider will talk with you about how to protect lean muscle through nutrition and activity as part of your plan.
No. The program is built around GLP-based medical weight loss rather than stimulants like phentermine.
